My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a loyal, loving pup who lives to make you feel special? Tulane is your guy. This sweet Shepherd mix is the ultimate cuddle buddy—he’ll nuzzle into your arms and wrap you in warmth just when you need it most. He’s not just affectionate—he’s devoted. Once Tulane feels safe and loved, he’ll be your shadow, sticking close and offering companionship through every part of your day.

Tulane is well trained at home—he’s both house-trained and crate-trained, making the transition into your life smooth. While he’s friendly with other dogs, Tulane would prefer to be the only dog in his house. He prefers a peaceful home where he can fully relax, soak up your love, and give you all his heart in return.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and deeply loyal companion who will adore being by your side, Tulane is ready and waiting. Come meet him—you just might find the missing piece of your heart.

Tulane has a condition called patellar luxation, affecting his kneecap, but with a few lifestyle adjustments, he’s still an active and joyful dog. The vet recommends avoiding long walks on pavement, but this doesn't keep him from living life to the fullest—he’s great at finding ways to entertain himself without putting stress on his knee.

If you're looking for an affectionate, and incredibly loyal companion, Tulane is the one for you! With him by your side, you'll always have a furry friend to keep you company and fill your heart with joy. Take this sweet soul home and let him bring love and warmth into your life.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
