This helps Feral Feline Friends of East TN with pet care costs.
Grey Cat has opinions. Strong ones. She believes in personal space, clear boundaries, and pets only when she decides its time. She has been waiting a long time for someone who understands her. Shes not the easiest cat, but shes made incredible progress and deserves a patient home that sees her for who she is. With her people, Grey Cat enjoys following them from room to room, making biscuits, and soaking up pets, until she decides shes had enough. When that moment comes, she can be quick to swat, so she does best with someone who can read her cues and give her space when she asks for it.
When Grey Cat first came to our attention, she was believed to be feral. We trapped her for surgery and discovered she had already been spayed. After returning her to the place where she was being fed, the residents shared that she had started allowing them to pet her and wondered if she might have a chance at a better life indoors.
We agreed to try and thats when we discovered Grey Catslets call it a strong personality. Because of this, Grey Cat is looking for an experienced cat home that understands independent cats and respects their boundaries. She does well with calm, non-aggressive cats and can also coexist with dogs who wont bother her. Grey Cat loves wand toys, bird watching from a cozy window, and has even been known to splash around in her water dish for fun.
Grey Cat isnt an easy cat, but shes a special one. Shes looking for someone who will appreciate her progress, respect her independence, and give her the patient home she deserves.
