Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Why hello there! My name is Cava. As a reserved and loyal companion it can take a little time for me to warm up to new friends, but once I do you`ll find that I`m a true delight. When I want something, like a treat or toy, I`ll lay my head in your lap and stare at you with the most pathetic puppy dog eyes. When I`m not busy relaxing or begging for treats, I enjoy going for adventures and playing with my favorite green bouncy ball. I`m a big fan of learning new tricks - I already know sit, stay, come, down, and paw! I am full grown at ~55 lbs. How did I get here? Surrendered by my owner when they were moving and couldn`t take me with them.
*I need to live in a feline free home please! I am currently living in a foster home - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet us in person!** ~My adoption fee is waived thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization.~

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
