Hi I’m Wyler and I’m what they call a Blue Tick Beagle. When you hear my name, Wyler, you think lemonade, right? Well life handed me some lemons but luckily I wound up with BREW… so we’re making some great lemonade right now!
Although, I act much more puppy-like, I’m a youngster, just about 2 according to my vet. I didn’t arrive with any history when I checked in with my foster family, just rolled in and proceeded to fit in with the resident boy and girl beagles here. I’m in great shape (no biscuit beagle!); ots of energy, love to play tug-a-war, chase, and oh do I love my food! I’m still learning some manners and working on “sit” before I get to dive into my chow. After manning the backyard perimeter, forever keeping an eye out for the dreaded squirrels, I always come in when I’m called. Barking and howling is not my thing unless my buddies get it going first! It’s great to have my 2 squares a day, the bed of my choice and lots of buddies. OH… I do have one thing that I do that is great fun! I collect things… sandals, toys, shoes, boxer shorts (Pop was glad nobody was around when he found my stash that day!) I’ll bring them to my bed, sometimes even up on the couch! Speaking of bed, I like pillows, blankets, clothes, and anything soft works for me. I don’t need to be crated; have never had an accident in the house yet. But, I have to tell you, I got caught snitching a sandwich off the counter the other day. Hey, I’m not perfect, that beagle in me gets me into trouble sometimes; always up for a snack! I love to lay and snuggle with you when you’re watching TV. My grandma here loves it when I lay my head on her lap. She’s such a softy, keeps saying, ”he’s so sweet”. I would love a forever home with a fenced backyard and if there was another furry friend that would be nice to. I am a great looking guy, as you can see, and have been told I have quite the personality, so please check me out. I ‘m ready for a new family to love me, take good care of me and make me their special “boy”. In return, I’ll love you forever!
