Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Blain, the charming mini panther with a heart of gold! This handsome young adult may be a tad shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—once he warms up, he will steal your heart with his delightful personality and playful antics Blain adores long snuggle sessions and is always ready to curl up in your lap for a cozy nap.
With his adorable, slightly protruding canines, he channels a quirky Dracula vibe that adds to his charm, especially when he gives you those funny little expressions. While he’s a champion napper, he also enjoys a few daily play sessions and will turn anything he finds into his next favorite toy!
Blain is a social butterfly when it comes to his fellow feline friends, always eager to engage in playful antics. He’s gentle and never aggressive, but his playful spirit means he’d thrive in a home with other cats who are patient and ready to join in on the fun. He would probably do well as a solo cat, as long as he can soak up lots of love and attention from his human companions.
Although he's had some special care in the past due to a joint issue, Blain is a resilient guy who has fully bounced back and doesn’t let anything hold him back. He’ll need bi-monthly vet visits for a Solensia shot, and while there’s a slight chance of future complications, he’s currently in excellent shape and ready to live his best life.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who brings joy, laughter, and warmth to your home, Blain is your guy! Come meet this sweet-natured kitty, and get ready for endless cuddles and fun moments together!
Blain is neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for FiV/FeLV and is micro chipped.

At the adoption fairs, if you meet a kitten or cat that you want to adopt, you will be asked to complete an application and contract and leave a check for the adoption fee ($120 for an adult or $145 for un-neutered kitten of which $50 is a deposit that is refunded after you provide 4Paws proof of sterilization). We ask that you pay the adoption fee up front at the fairs in order to “put a hold” on the cat until your application is processed. If your application is not approved, your check is returned to you.
Neither cats nor kittens are sent to their new homes on the day of the fair. It usually takes 4-5 days to process the application before the cat can go to his or her adoptive home. Pre-approval is an option, though. To accelerate the adoption process, you can fax a completed application and contract to us at 703-560-9795 a few days before the fair. Adoption Applications are available on this website.

Adoption fairs are held once or twice a month at various PETCO stores in Northern Virginia. The adoption fairs are usually held on Saturday’s from 1:00 to 5:00. Between 30 and 60 cats and kittens are shown for adoption at each fair—with the larger fairs generally occurring April through October.
While they are waiting to find permanent loving homes, our cats temporarily live in foster homes. The foster families bring the cats and kittens to the adoption fairs to be seen by potential adopters. Applicants have the opportunity to handle the cats and in some cases, meet the foster parents who can provide additional insight into a cat’s habits and personality.

More about this rescue
The 4Paws Rescue Team is a nonprofit community-based all volunteer organization that takes in neglected, abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and kittens.
