Hunter is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is loyal, protective, and full of energy. Rescued from the streets, Hunter has learned to appreciate proper nutrition, care, and the love of a family since arriving at Big Dog Ranch. He is intelligent and independent, traits that reflect his Ridgeback heritage, and he is always eager to explore and play.

Despite his strength and independence, Hunter is also calm and affectionate with his family. He enjoys outdoor activities like running and hiking, making him an ideal companion for an active household. Hunter is gentle and friendly, especially with children, and will quickly become a beloved member of any family. Although he may be reserved with strangers at first, with time and patience, Hunter warms up and reveals his loving and loyal nature.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
