My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milli is a sweet 1 1/2-year-old female cat who brings joy to any home with her playful energy and love for belly rubs. She is an active feline who enjoys spending time close to people and often chooses to lay beside you for comfort, she will even sit on your lap! Milli delights in her toys and cherishes gentle attention, but she prefers not to be held and can become a little skittish around loud noises. Although she gets along well with other cats, she is not accustomed to being around dogs.
Milli is currently being fostered due to immune system issues from possible allergies or the environment at the Rescue. She is ready for adoption and hopes to find a loving family directly from her foster home, preferring not to return to the rescue.

We are located in Priest River right on the main highway (Highway 2) and attend as many adoption events as we can each year. We have several fund raisers and you can learn about them on our website

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
