My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Goji
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 2 yrs
Weight: 9.5 lbs

Enthusiastic, High Energy, Excited Teenager!
Good with dogs? Yes.
Good with cats? Yes! Goji enjoys the company of other cats—especially those who match his playful, high-energy style. He would thrive in a home with a confident cat buddy (or two!) who’s ready to wrestle, chase, and play.
Good with kids? Goji would do best in a home with people who can read his cues and respect his boundaries—he’s very communicative when he’s had enough.
Energy level: High! Goji LOVES all kinds of play and toys he can bat around or chase. He thrives with both mental and physical stimulation and especially enjoys birdwatching from a cozy window perch followed by a good nap.
Behavioral needs: Goji is a very enthusiastic guy who can get overstimulated. He currently takes a daily calming medication (easily mixed into his food) to help him settle down after all the excitement life brings. He started out as a feral kitten, has made incredible progress, and now behaves like a spirited, fun-loving teenage house cat.
Animal Characteristics: Goji is a striking cat with a curious spark in his eyes and a tail that never stops swishing when he's excited. He’s the kind of cat who will chase shadows on the wall, inspect everything you bring into the house, and then curl up in the sun like he owns the place. He’s social and affectionate, often nudging your hand for pets and attention, but also gives clear signals when he’s ready to wind down and enjoy some solo time.
Goji is ready to share a lifetime of fun, love, and zoomies with a forever family—especially one that includes a playful feline buddy or two!
