Meet Tom Yum & Pad Thai – Bonded Brothers with Big Hearts 🐾
Tommy and Thai are a bonded pair of brothers with a uniquely beautiful bond and very different personalities – true opposites who complete each other. They’re looking for a home who understands that love comes in all forms – sometimes loud and cuddly, sometimes quiet and shy.
🐱 Pad Thai – The Social Butterfly
Thai is outgoing, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. Once he opens up (which doesn’t take long!), he’s all in – face licks, cuddles, and following you everywhere. He loves playtime, is very food motivated, and doesn’t mind being held. He’s the kind of cat who becomes your little shadow, always curious about what you’re up to. Life with Thai is full of laughter, love, and maybe a little drool.
🐱Tom Yum – The Gentle Soul
Tommy is Thai’s quieter half. He’s shy, cautious, and still learning to trust the world – but he’s come a long way. Once terrified of movement and people, Tommy now calmly lounges nearby and occasionally seeks out gentle affection on his own terms. He’s not one for being held, and quick movements still startle him, but his progress is nothing short of heartwarming. With patience and love, he continues to blossom.
Medical & Special Needs:
Both boys may require lifelong eye drops twice daily due to a congenital eye defect condition that they were both with. Both boys were born with eyes lids that were not fully formed. Tommy, in particular, is prone to occasional ulcers and may need antibiotic treatments periodically. Because of their medical needs, they qualify for the Special Souls Feline Foundation’s sponsorship program.

Both are very vocal – you’ll always know how they feel! They are high energy and LOVE to play together. They’re still a little wary of strangers but learning to trust more each day. They balance each other out perfectly – Thai brings the confidence, Tommy brings the calm.

As a feral cat rescue and socialization facility, we focus our attention on the most vulnerable of felines -- feral cats and kittens. Weekly volunteers and foster families, who use force-free socialization techniques, take street cats from 'hiss to home'. Each year, through TNR and Working Cat programs, we place a thousand feral cats in safe locations and intake hundreds of feral kittens. As a 501c3, we rely on community donations and support. Only through working together can we continue to offer life-saving services to LA's abandoned cats and kittens.
