Introducing Van Gaugh, a strikingly handsome grey cat with soulful eyes and a gentle, shy nature. Just like the artist he’s named after, Van Gaugh is a bit of a mystery at first—but with time, patience, and love, his true colors begin to shine.
Van Gaugh is naturally timid and takes a while to feel safe in new spaces or with new people. But once he trusts you, you'll see just how endearing and sweet he really is—soft purrs, slow blinks, and quiet companionship are his way of saying “thank you” for your kindness.
He would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. A patient, understanding adopter will be rewarded with a loyal and gentle friend for life.
Van Gaugh is also FIV positive, which simply means his immune system needs a little extra care. FIV cats can live long, happy lives and can even live with other friendly cats as long as there's no serious fighting.
