Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Visit our website at petcentralhelps.org and apply for the pet of your choice. Our website is the most "up to date" info for available pets.
- Interview
- An adoption specialist will reach out to discuss your adopter survey and go over an needs the pet may have.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- All paperwork is done electronically, and once the paperwork is received and fee is paid, we will schedule a time to pick up your pet.
- Take the Pet Home
- Curbside Cuddles is usually on a Saturday. Arrive for your scheduled appointment and pick up your pet curbside!
Go meet their pets
In order to increase efficiency and to support the well-being of the pets in our care, the first time an adopter will meet the pet they are adopting is at their scheduled pick up time. Instead of meet-and-greets prior to adoptions, PCH supports a 21-day-no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match.
