Oden is a happy, sweet dog with a goofy streak and a serious love for adventure. Whether he’s racing around the yard with a toy or on a walk, Oden brings joy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He’s also a total people-person, especially with older teens and adults, and loves soaking up attention from our volunteers during walks and playtime. Originally adopted as a puppy, Oden was returned to ARF in July 2024 after some challenges in a multi-dog home. He’s a dog who thrives on structure, calm energy, consistency, and one-on-one time with his people. While he can be around other dogs, he needs slow, intentional introductions and space to build trust on his own terms. Because of his strength and energy, a home without other pets and with older teens (16+) or adults would be the best match for him. Oden thrives in calm environments where he can focus on bonding with his people and enjoying the simple things—walks, toys, and relaxed time together. If you’re someone who appreciates a dog with personality, smarts, and a soft side, Oden could be the perfect fit.
