Go meet their pets

As a foster based rescue we do not have a physical location Our boxers are placed in foster homes-this allows us to learn more about the boxer in a home setting, which in turn helps us match potential adopters with a boxer that fits within their family dynamics.

With an approved application, meet and greets may be arranged, however, we will not hold or transport a boxer for a meet/greet.

More about this rescue

Boxer Lovers Rescue, Inc is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization with a small kennel facility and a growing foster network throughout Idaho and surrounding states. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, more specifically boxer dogs, fostering a community united in animal welfare.

Founded in 2015, Boxer Lovers Rescue (BLR) provides a lifeline for boxer dogs in high-risk situations. Our organization rescues hundreds of boxers each year from overcrowded shelters, abusive or neglectful environments, and life-threatening circumstances, providing them with essential medical care, behavioral training, and the opportunity to find loving, responsible families. To date, BLR has successfully placed over 2,000 boxers in loving homes.

BLR is more than just an animal rescue organization; we inspire hope for animals and the community. Our goal is to not only find homes for these animals but also to educate the public, thus reducing future instances of abandonment and mistreatment.
