From Thor to Timmie: A Gentle Survivor Who Deserves a Second Chance
When Timmie arrived, his skin was raw and sore, his eyes were infected, and he was underweight and scared. Some thought his condition was too severe to overcome—but Timmie never gave up. With love and care, he’s blossomed into a handsome, affectionate 4-year-old who adores quiet cuddles, lap time, and, of course, his food.
Timmie Today
His fur has grown back and his eyes and skin are much improved He’s gained weight and has perfect litter box habits He still has allergies, and occasional flare-ups happen, but with the right routine he stays comfortable and stable He has a mild heart murmur but no symptoms He’s gentle, patient, and never lashes out—even during baths or treatments
The Home He’s Hoping For
Timmie is not a “set it and forget it” cat. He needs someone who will keep him on his high-quality diet (no junk food or treats) and who is patient enough to help him through occasional flare-ups. He would be happiest as the only pet in a calm, loving home, where his adopter takes joy in fussing over just one special cat. His foster mom says it best: “Not perfect, but beautiful and very lovable.”
Why He Deserves This Chance
Timmie was surrendered because his previous family couldn’t manage his allergies. He has fought too hard and come too far to be let down again. Now, he deserves a forever family who won’t give up on him.

Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
