Their adoption process
We provide information to the adopter regarding the smooth transition of the pet to their new home. We keep the lines of communication open to facilitate any questions or concerns.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Our pets are in foster homes. We review the completed application.
- Interview
- We interview the applicant. Verify the information on the application is accurate.
- Home Check
- We conduct a home check. Virtual home check was added during the pandemic.
- Meet the Pet
- We offer a meet and greet at the foster home. On occasion we will take the pet to the home of the potential adopter.
- Approve Application
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If the pet is too young to be spayed and neutered there is an additional contract with a refundable deposit returned after proof of s/n.
- Pay Fee
- The fee is paid and the pet is taken to their new home. We have diligent follow-up after the pet is in their new forever home.
