Rufus is a 6 year old mixed breed who was brought in as a stray. Some of Rufus’ favorite things are playing fetch and tug of war! Although he may not be a youngster anymore, he still plays like a puppy when it involves toys! Rufus is crate trained, and is currently working on learning “sit” and “drop”! Rufus loves hanging out in the backyard. You’ll find him exploring and picking up sticks! Rufus loves his people and will be your shadow! Rufus would do best with slow intros with other dogs, and would prefer an adult only home!! No cats for Rufus!

Pets Stop Here Rescue is operated by a collection of fabulous volunteers from all over the Rochester area. We are dedicated to providing safe and secure refuge for abused, unwanted, and neglected animals through foster homes while they await their forever homes. We are dedicated to promoting and educating the public on humane and responsible treatment of all animals.
