Toby, the adorable little cat and was discovered by a kind-hearted lady in the parking lot of Lucky's Restaurant.
This brave little soul was in quite a predicament, as he was being harassed by a dog. Toby, with his adventurous spirit, managed to escape from the ordeal but found himself in another sticky situation. In his frantic attempt to find safety, he squeezed himself under the dashboard of a stranger’s car 🚗, seeking solace and protection from the chaos outside.
The car owner, upon realizing Toby's distressing predicament, realized they needed help to rescue the frightened cat. So, they drove over to Arne's Automotive where a team of gentle and compassionate individuals helped extricate Toby from his automotive hideout.
Through all these trials, it is evident that Toby has faced more than his fair share of challenges and hardships in his young life. Despite these adversities, Toby’s resilience and spirit shine through, and we are all rooting for him to find a forever home where he can finally experience the love and care he so richly deserves.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
