💙 Loki — Shy, Sweet, and Ready for a Braver Life

Loki is a 1.5-year-old Russian Blue tuxedo boy with a heart of gold… and a healthy dose of stranger danger. He originally came to us through a TNR project, and while all his siblings blossomed quickly, Loki needed a bit more time to understand that people can be safe and kind.

He’s playful, gentle, and absolutely adorable, but he needs a confident feline role model — a cat who doesn’t share his fears and can show him how to relax and enjoy home life. He and Lulu were surrendered together, but the two of them actually make each other more nervous, so Loki will do his best in a home with the right feline friend, not just any friend.

Loki is sweet, sensitive, and learns by watching. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he loves interactive play and warms up beautifully with patience and consistency. Loki needs an adult only home as high energy is really scary to him but once he trust you, he will be your BFF 💗

If you want to help a shy kitty truly blossom, Loki is an incredibly rewarding little soul!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

We accept applications online and in person at events. Applications are accepted on a first-come basis.

2.
Meet the Pet

We require an in-person meeting with potential adopters and one of our adoption specialists. All members of the family should be present.

3.
Interview

Interviews can be conducted via email or in person and may happen before, after or during the in-person meeting with the pet.

4.
Home Check

Home checks may be completed at the discretion of the interviewing adoption specialist.

Approve Application

A follow-up contact will be made by an adoption specialist 1-3 days post-adoption and again at 10-14 days.

We are an all volunteer staffed rescue. Typical response times are less than 12 hours; however, please allow up to 72 hours for a response.
