This is Sergio! He's got a story to tell... He was found on the side of the road-just about to give up when a caring passerby stopped to help him. After a trip to the vet with his 'finder', it was determined that his femur was out of the socket. After arriving at the shelter and having a more thorough vet examination, it was determined that he also had 'pellets' several places in his body. Fast forward 6 weeks-He's had his surgery and is doing great. In fact, he is quite spunky and is regaining the use of his leg more each day. Since he's been in 'rehab quarantine', he needs a little catching up with his social skills, but no doubt he'll get there.
