Bean Sprout is a very lovely, gentle boy! He is an affectionate cat who lovingly gives head bumps to those who greet him. He is as mild-mannered as they come and is completely content being around his people. His talents include flopping down dramatically and asking for pets, purring like crazy from getting pets, and making biscuits because he's happy he's getting pets. (Can you tell this boy loves pets?!)
Bean Sprout is frequently up for chasing a feather toy and has a playful side! However, his favorite activity is hanging out with a human friend, napping in the sunshine cast from a nearby window, and purring with affection.
Bean Sprout has a wonderful voice! When he is hungry, he meows with the cutest, "Ow!"
Bean Sprout has diabetes. This means his body has trouble regulating his blood sugars on its own and he requires some medication. Bean Sprout gets insulin shots twice a day to help manage this (12 hours apart). He handles these shots like a champ and the shots are very easy to give once you get the hang of it! His foster family was nervous about this, as they had never cared for a diabetic cat, but has found his care to be very easy. He is a sweet companion and wonderful with children!
Bean Sprout is an affectionate, kind companion who would love to be counted as a member of a family, no matter how small or large. This calm, sweet cat with beautiful amber eyes is a perfect companion.
Bean Sprouts is a very special kitty who's just looking for love. Apply to meet Bean Sprouts today at www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt!

More about this rescue
Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.
Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
