My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How is this little girl still available??
Maple is estimated to be about 3-years-old and is a Cavapoo. This little girl is such a sweet, smart, lovable pup who just wants to be around you taking it all in and learning as much as she can.

Maple is a puppy mill survivor who is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is crate trained. She has come along way from when she first arrived at her foster home. Since being at her foster home, she has learned to sit before she eats and receives treats. She has also learned she loves a good dog bed and is now able to hold going potty overnight as long as she is let out right before bed time. She is good during the day as long as she can be let out a few times during the day.

She is on a special food but you don’t need a prescription for it. When she first arrived, it was evident she was eating anything and everything she could get too. Her belly was very upset. It took us 4 months to figure it out with lots of trips to the vet and multiple special diets and meds. The food she is on is Royal Canin Digestive Care and we get it from PetSmart for $59.99 for a 17 lb. bag. This is what we use for treats as well.

Maple loves running around outside with her foster brothers and sisters and is loves all dog toys. She does love a good chew toy too. She is still a bit skittish around people and loud noises so a fenced yard is an absolute must. Maple loves being around other pups so a forever home with at least one other pup is needed. She is great with cats. Doesn’t even give them a piece of mind. She will need someone who will be patient and continue to work with her and reassure her everything is ok and its ok to be a pup.
