Their adoption process
Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.
- Interview
- Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.
- Home Check
- We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
- Approve Application
- Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Precious Pets, Almost Home Association is a rescue group/foster home program. We consist of dedicated individuals that are joined together by their compassion and love for homeless cats and dogs! Precious Pets, Almost Home Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. We are completely volunteer run. All donations are fully tax-deductible. We do not receive any city, state or federal funding. All of our support comes from concerned and involved individuals like you that share our compassion and love for homeless cats and dogs
