Monkey was adopted as a kitten and then returned to the shelter several months later. We were told he had some destructive behaviors in the home but so far, he has been nothing short of perfect in the shelter! As of 2013, dog adoption fees range from $225 for dogs to $325 for puppies, and some dogs may have reduced or waived adoption fees. Cat adoption fees range from $25 for older adult cats to $140 for young kittens, with some cats' adoption fees waived.
