Meet Kyro — the 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as his 52-pound frame!

Despite a challenging start, Kyro has never lost his zest for life or his belief that he’d find the perfect home. He’s friendly with adults, great with older kids, gentle with other dogs, and loves toys and playtime. Fetch is a favorite pastime, and he especially enjoys belly rubs and booty scritches.

Kyro is house trained, well-behaved on walks, great in the car, and calm when left alone. He’s a sensitive soul who prefers not to be crated but thrives in a comfy, safe space with his bed and toys. While he can be excited by fast-moving bikes or skaters, he quickly settles with guidance.

This teddy bear of a dog is a fast learner, loves cuddles (especially on his chest and front paws), and enjoys relaxing on the couch after a fun day outdoors. Kyro is up-to-date on his shots and neutered — now he’s ready to find the forever home that truly appreciates his playful, loving, and loyal personality.

Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
