Meet Mercury, a charming cat who knows his name and comes running when called! He's an incredibly affectionate lap cat who craves cuddles and attention—he wants someone to love on him all the time. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, Mercury is your guy! He loves being held like a baby and will melt into your arms.
Mercury is great with kids, other cats, and dogs—he’s the ultimate social butterfly, and his gentle, loving nature makes him a joy to be around. With his stunning blue-green eyes and endearing personality, it's hard not to fall in love with him at first sight.
While Mercury is vocal and loves to chat with you about his day, he's also been through a lot—he has only 5 teeth left, which makes him even more irresistibly cute! (Mercury doesn’t require special care and eats like a champ) If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who just wants to be near you, Mercury is the perfect fit!

Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet.
