Hi There,
My name is Jackson, but you can call me Jax. I have been looking for a new home for a number of months but so far, no luck in finding my forever home. I have been shown to several people who liked me, but they said I was too big. I am a healthy, 6 1/2-year-old Cocker Spaniel. I was surrendered to a NC Shelter with the owners saying I snapped at their young kids when they wouldn't share their food with me. This said, an adult home with children 10 and older, refresher house training and a fenced yard is best.
I am a big boned, loving, friendly Cocker Spaniel boy weighing about 40 pounds. I can't help that I am a big guy, but I have a huge heart and would love someone to love me. I am heartworm negative, neutered and micro-chipped. Due to my past, no young kids in my new home but children 10 and older okay. I am a happy, affectionate guy most of the time, but I do lack some social skills from when I was younger. I have anxiety issues with grooming and riding in a vehicle is difficult when I hear loud noises. I am not a playful dog, but I would enjoy quality time with you and having a dog social companion who can be my pal. A calm, stable home with lots of quality time with me is best. I am a good boy and will become a loving companion once I get to know you. No apartments or condos. Please consider giving me a 2nd chance to have the home I deserve.
Adoption fee $200
