My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne took some time to trust humans after her difficult start to life but she has turned the corner and now knows that humans are kind and loving. She now makes sure that her humans are within her sight or very close by. She will bury her head into your leg while being petted. She comes to you or will roll over when she is ready for your affection and gentle pets. She likes to watch cat videos on TV and will chase any lizard that comes on the screen. She freezes when you pick her up and would prefer to not be held and carried around. She gets along well with other cats when introduced properly. She has never been around dogs.. Daphne would do well with another cat in the home. Are you ready for a sweet, gentle and loyal friend. If so, Daphne is your girl.

Additional adoption info

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
