Abel is a pitbull mix about a year old and is only about 33 pounds. When he was a puppy, he was hit by a car and that’s why he only has three legs but he can run and play and jump just like other dogs! Because he loves his people so much, he gets jealous when there are other animals around, so he needs to be the only pet in the family. Would you please let him love you?

People must come in for personal interview and complete adoption form. If renting, written permission from landlord is required. Adoption fee is $225. We require animals be returned to our facility if adoption does not work out. We require a signed agreement never to chain or crate an animal (crate exception for transport only). We DO NOT support crating! We follow up with phone call or home visit within first month. Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 231-944-6520. You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
