My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bernard is a little pocket pittie mix with short legs, a muscular build, and a sweet disposition. He is around 6-years-old, weighs less than 40 lbs., and is a cuddly, sweet little lovebug!

Bernard LOVES toys. He plays nicely with his squeaky toys and stuffies, and gets excited when a new toy is given to him. He is treat motivated, knows a few basic commands, and is always eager for his morning walks. Bernard has an old soul, and is looking for a life of luxury and relaxation. It doesn't take much exercise to please him - a walk around the neighborhood and maybe a quick game of fetch, and he's ready to snuggle for the rest of the day!

Though he adores people, Bernard is particular about the canines he allows into his inner circle, and he's not a fan of cats, so we think he'll be happiest as the only furbaby in his forever home. If you have a household that sounds like a good fit for this sweet-natured boy, come meet Bernard at HES!
