Jake the Dog- Jake is a quiet affectionate boy that is inquisitive and very intelligent. His foster mom can see the gears moving as he takes in a new toy, checks out a new sound, or new device. TV fascinates this little guy, and he became a constant 'sofa companion' in foster care. Jake can be more easily frightened because he seems to 'over think' things, but with a patient human, or another confident cat to allow him to learn, he grows with each day to a loving confident cat. Jake would love to stay with his brother Fin and finds Fin's nature both comforting and inspiring, but foster mom is confident that he would form the same attachments to any other kitten or relaxed adult kitty. He interacts very well with the adult cats in his foster home and his respect won him rights to kitty beds and play time with their toys very quickly. Jake made connections with his foster mom more strongly over time, and with each experience, with those brain cells developing, turned him from nervous to lap cat in a matter of a week.
