My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chickadee came into our care when she and her sister Owl both had litters of kittens at the same time. Having grown up outside and only around humans some, they are still warming to human interaction but have come a long way! Chickadee is bonded with her daughter/niece Dove and you can often find them snuggled together.

They would need patient humans who can steadily earn their trust and respect boundaries, with no guarantees of their eventual dispositions.

Chickadee is at the lounge, so you can visit her there during open hours. She may be hard to spot though as she'll be securely tucked in a hiding spot away from all the activity.

Rescue and Relax is a Pittsburgh nonprofit animal rescue. We operate with a dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes, caring for homeless animals from across Western Pennsylvania until they can be placed in loving forever homes. Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
