Stanley is a solid giant with a heart of gold. Stanley is a 2 year old Great Dane/American Bulldog Mix. Weighing in at 95lbs of pure muscle he is extremely powerful and will need an experienced adopter with enough space to provide this amount of dog! Stanley was surrendered to our center when his former guardians could no longer keep him in their apartment due to his large size. Stanley enjoys wrestle play with another one of our large resident dogs, Ollie. He very well may do good in a home with another large dog. Stanley loves people and is eager to please his human companions and friends. Stanley does well on walks and will need an adopter who is willing to put in the time and commitment for training and guiding this massive love bug. Stanley is high energy and would be best suited in a home with a large, fenced in yard with plenty of room for Stanley to run and play at his leisure. Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
