Meet Gio - though he sounds like he would come with an attitude, he is a very sweet, but shy little guy. Gio just turned 2 years old, and he is a gorgeous cream color - and how can you resist those eyes?? At his latest vet appointment in October he weighed in at a light 13.5 lbs. His foster family originally fostered him through a rescue that has since closed down, and they are now fostering him for us. He is great with their yellow lab, and their son - aged about 10. Gio will need continuing work on his house training, but he is a smart little guy and with consistent schedules he will learn quickly. It would be great if he could find a home with someone who is not gone more than 4 hours, or has someone who could take him out on a regular basis. Gio loves to cuddle, but storms and loud noises - not so much. He will need another dog in his home to continue his training on how to be a dog, and become more outgoing. He is also camera shy - more photos to follow soon :) If you love sweets, then Gio is the dog for you!! Gio can be adopted within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities. You can meet Gio in person at our next Meet the Breed event at the Eden Prairie Petco on the second Sunday of December, from noon to 2pm.
