Clementine is as sweet as her name! She was found by animal control + community members running as a stray and took some convincing to get in the animal control vehicle. Unsure of her surroundings and in an unfamiliar place, Clementine was shut down. As she began to trust us her personality blossomed and we now see the goofy, spirited, spunky girl that she is! Clementine is great on leash and walks beautifully. At 80lbs she is large and can pull, but usually chooses not to. She is smart as can be and knows several basic commands. Being food motivated also helps because this girl will WORK for food. Training has been a breeze since she is both food and praise oriented. Clementine has met other dogs and done well. She plays with several other large dogs at the shelter, both male and female alike. Clementine has the most adorable ears that flop around and she has a faint resemblance to Scooby Doo! She is estimated to be about two years old and fully grown. She would thrive in a home with a patient handler who understands she can be nervous at times. She looks to her handler for guidance and reassurance and once she is comfortable she will be your best friend. Now Clementine enjoys jumping in the car for a ride and trying new things. She has such a sweet disposition, she just needs you! Apply to adopt this sweet girl and we know you won't be sorry!
