Foster Notes: `Colby is the sweetest pup you would ever meet! From the day he came home with me, he has been the nicest, most well adjusted dog. He immediately trusted me and rolled on his back for belly rubs. He is the biggest cuddler ever. He loves to get as close as he can to you and just sleep. He follows me around no matter where I am going. Even if I am just moving within his eyesight, he is right behind me. He likes to go outside and sniff around but as soon as he is done with his business, he wants to go back inside. He doesn`t like to be outside for long amounts of time and he always wants me to be right beside him if he is outside. He also doesn`t really like to play with toys. He likes to have them with him while he sleeps but he doesn`t fetch or play tug of war. I tried to introduce him to other dogs and he seemed not to like them much. He immediately stiffened and started barking. They were both around his size, if not bigger. I also tried to introduce him to a smaller dog, and he still did not like them. While he is not fond of dogs, he LOVES people! No matter who he meets, he is automatically wanting to jump on them and he wants you to rub him. He has never had an issue with anyone but he doesn`t like to see people through windows, I`m not sure why. If you want a chill, cuddly pup to brighten your life, Colby is the pup for you.
Colby is perfectly housetrained. As long as you take him out often and make sure he uses the bathroom, I don`t think that you will have any issues regarding accidents. He is walked on a leash and also allowed outside on his own, but he doesn`t like to be outside without someone right beside him. He is not crate trained but I don`t think it would be hard for him to learn if that was a goal of yours. He doesn`t do a ton of tricks or know a lot of commands. He only listens some of the time when I tell him to sit and he always gets sad when I ask for his paw, so I try to avoid that.`
