Kobe is a beautiful, young Shepherd who was surrendered by her owner due to his declining health. He loved her very much, but wanted her to have the best life.
Kobe LOVES other dogs and is a great tester dog when new dogs arrive. Kobe's best friend at Jelly's in Raimi, a lab/shepherd mix. They have a great time playing together and just keeping each other company. She loves to chase and fetch balls, especially ones that squeak. She also LOVES to play in water. Kobe is having a great time participating in our informal agility course. She lovesvto competecwith Raimi to see who can do the tricks faster and better. She knows sit and down and is working on stay. She is very food motivated and eager to learn which makes her the perfect training candidate.
Kobe is NOT a first time adopter dog. She needs an adopter with both dog and shepherd experience. She is very shy and nervous when first meeting new people, but once she knows you, her love and devotion knows no bounds. She will probably require multiple visits from her adoptive family before leaving the shelter.
The ideal home for Kobe would be a calm, quiet all adult home with one or more dogs and a yard.
Kobe is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccines.
If you want to meet Kobe, complete an application at jellysplace.org. Qualified applicants will be contacted.
