Jax is a sweet and loyal older dog with a gentle heart. He may be a bit past his puppy days, but his love for his person is stronger than ever. Jax is incredibly protective, always keeping an eye on those he loves, but he’s also calm and relaxed around other dogs, getting along well with his canine friends. He’s looking for a peaceful home where he can spend his days relaxing by your side, providing comfort, love, and the occasional protective bark when needed. Jax would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and mellow friend to share their life with.

Saving Grace provides sheltering for animals in Douglas County Oregon who have no other place to go. We find each dog, cat, bunny or sometimes livestock, a loving new home. Our shelter is considered No-Kill by the nationally recognized standards.
