Kani was the runt of the litter and was rescued in rough shape. With a little love & some good food Kani has thrived into an outgoing girl.Kani is sweet, sensitive, cuddly, silly and loves to talk! She is still working on walking on leash but isn't crazy on it, just overly curious. She is learning how to play fetch and will steal your sock to play keep away...loving the chase!
Kani loves looking out the window, sunbathing & watching the world go by. Kani hasn't learned the "personal space" concept yet and cuddles in close. She is crate trained, potty trained and knows her manners. She is currently living with a cat indoors & a feral one out in her yard, doing amazing with both of them.

Additional adoption info
An adoption application is required along with references and a home visit. Once approved the adoption fees vary by age:
$300 for under 1 year old
$250 for over 1 year old
Each dog comes with a full year of vaccinations, 2 de-wormings, full blood panel, fecal, snueter and micro-chip. We also have a contract and offer lifetime training (in Illinois) for all of our adopted dogs.

We are a small but mighty organization and many of our dogs are long-term rescues, therefore we have a large foster community in the Chicagoland area.
