Meet Finn, a sweet and gentle soul who deserves a loving forever home. Finn is an 8-year-old, 30-pound pup with an enlarged heart, but don’t let that fool you—he still has plenty of life left to live! With proper medication, dogs with his condition can live for over two years, and we will fully sponsor his medical care for life.
About Finn:
Pulled from Miami-Dade Animal Shelter in September, where he was listed as a fearful stray
Not aggressive, just extremely scared of people—he shakes and looks away when nervous
Loves other animals and would do best in a home with other pets (docile males only due to him unable to be neutered)
Crate trained and finds comfort in his safe space
Unable to be leashed due to fear—his adopter must have patience and experience with anxious dogs
Must have a fully fenced-in 6-foot privacy fence (he can jump shorter fences when scared)
Intact and unable to be neutered due to his heart condition—his adopter must be responsible and supervise him.
Finn may take time to trust, but beneath his fear is a sweet and deserving boy. He needs a patient, experienced adopter who will give him the time and space to feel safe.
If you have the heart and home for Finn, please reach out! He deserves to spend the rest of his years knowing love and comfort.
