Meyers is a little girl with a spirit as independent as they come. She's not one to clamor for attention, preferring her own company to the hustle and bustle of her kitty friends. She spends her days observing the world around her, taking in the sights and sounds with a quiet curiosity. Meyers is shy, but don't mistake her reserved tortie nature for indifference. Given time, she opens up and shows a warmth that is truly endearing.

Rescue/Shelter Description

The Village Mews was founded to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, in-home foster rescue. Our felines reside in caring foster homes, where they thrive in safe indoor environments. Any cat that is accepted into our foster program will remain with a loving foster family until adopted. Our volunteers work patiently with each cat providing them with medical care, socialization and rehabilitation. Once our cats are socially acclimated, in good health and have completed their medical requirements they begin their journey to finding their perfect forever homes.
As a volunteer based non-profit, we depend on the generosity and support of our Village. We are grateful for all monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as dry/ canned food and litter. We rely on private contributions to continue our rescue efforts.
