Meet Strawberry — The Queen of Cuddles & Purrs!
If you’ve been dreaming of a cuddly companion who melts in your arms and purrs when you pet her — Strawberry is your girl! She’s the sweetheart of the trio, known for her calm, loving personality. Whether she’s snuggling with her humans, munching on fresh bell peppers, or following her siblings around during floor time, Strawberry brings gentle joy to every moment.

Estimated birth date: 05/01/2018

Personality: Cuddly • Loyal • Sweet • Curious • Chatty (especially at veggie time!)

Favorite treats: Leafy greens & bell peppers

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Senior Guinea Pig Food, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay, occasional fruit (berries, apples)

Favorite toys and activities: Being held, gentle petting, bonding with humans — and being the center of your affection

Potty trained: We have a hay box set up for the bonded trio. They all use it for a good portion of the time which cuts down on the cleaning, odor, and mess

This animal’s daily routine: Pellets in the morning; fresh veggies, lap time and floor time in the evening.

BFF: Strawberry, Raspberry, and Blueberry are a bonded trio and must be adopted together.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: None

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes! Strawberry adores the kids in her foster home and is gentle and relaxed with them

Health concerns: Has an ovarian cyst that has been treated and is not causing concerns.

Behavioral concerns: None

Other notes: Strawberry is the most cuddly of the bonded trio. She is also our most picky eater. She will only eat veggies for treats, no other dry treats.

Blueberry, Raspberry, & Strawberry came to MNPPR when their owner became too ill to continue caring for them.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, MPLS MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Blueberry, Raspberry, & Strawberry have a combined adoption fee of $85

We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.

Strawberry's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored. If you would like to donate to provide veterinary care, food, bedding, and enrichment for Strawberry or other pocket pets in the care of MNPPR, please visit https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/sponsor-a-pocket-pet for more information.

More about this rescue

MN Pocket Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization primarily serving the Twin Cities Metro Area, focusing on education and public outreach. Our intent is to keep all animals in their homes, with their families, whenever possible. We are committed to rescuing those pocket pets that are in jeopardy of being euthanized or are in danger of being abused, left unattended or in other types of vulnerable situations. We ensure all animals receive proper veterinary care, medication and special training for any behavioral issues, as well as to arrange safe, temporary homes for these animals until stable forever homes can be found. Our team is made up of enthusiastic volunteers who work passionately to serve the underrepresented and often misunderstood niche of pocket pets in the overall rescue community and general public.
