Get ready to fall in love with October, Enid SPCA's adorable Red Heeler and Pointer mix currently in foster care! This friendly girl is two years old and is looking for a forever home filled with love and play. October is kennel trained, cat friendly, and dog friendly. She knows commands like "sit", "shake", and has great recall. October is extremely active and would benefit from having a large yard with dogs that can keep up with her. She loves anyone that is willing to give her attention - which she craves a LOT of.
While October is dog friendly, she does have to be the head of the pack and needs to be separated during feedings due to food agression. She has never shown aggression to small dogs or cats (but can be a bit too much for them if they're not used to a hyper dog). October is loyal to her people and will be obsessed with you even on your worst days.
