`Max is a very sweet and sensitive boy. Although he can be shy at first, he loves spending time with his people. He just lights up when he sees his friends! He will thrive in a calm home where he can be close to his family.
He absolutely loves to play fetch. He will even politely drop the ball and roll it back to you so you’ll throw it again! After a fetch session, he just wants to snuggle up and lounge.`
`Max, like Patty, is a very timid guy on walks. He absolutely loves to play fetch, and is a very loyal boy. It takes some time for him to trust someone new, so multiple visits might be best. Unfortunately, the people in his past showed him that people are bad news, so we`ve been doing our best to encourage him to open up and learn how to trust again. He becomes a very goofy guy when you get to know him, but he may be avoidant at first. Sometimes, the best human-dog relationships take time to evolve, and they become the best years of your lives! Max just wants his safe forever home with some people he loves and trusts.`
`If you are looking for someone to go on adventures with, you`ve found your guy, Max`s middle name is ADVENTURE!!!! His most favorite thing besides adventure is playing fetch! He`s a refined boy and has a heart of gold, loves agility and his tennis balls! Max is a loyal, loving, affectionate, happy gentleman who like everyone, needs a second chance at a forever home that will be patient with him. If you`re up for adventure or playing ball or spending time outdoors, come on in and meet Max! He will steal your heart! We are so proud of you buddy you`ve come so far and grown up so much since coming to us!`
