Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Egyptian Rose Onion (we like to just call her Onion, or Rose) is a charming mix of sweet and spicy that will make a loving addition to a patient home. She was brought to SCAT after mothering many litters of kittens, and is ready to settle in and enjoy the luxuries of being an empty nester. Her beautiful face and coat are guaranteed to enchant!
With new people, Onion is a bit hesitant and defensive. However, after being won over with snacks and pets, she quickly becomes very affectionate, and is absolutely addicted to head and butt scratches! She also makes the cutest and funniest grunts when getting a good scratch in. When she is ready for love, Onion will approach her fosters with confidence, and retreat to have a nap when she’s had her fill of attention. Her fosters are finding that everyday she is getting more cuddly and brave! They are so proud of her.
She likes to play, too, but is pretty laid back and content with snoozing and lazily swatting at her toys. She is chubby (perhaps from the leftover baby weight!) so her current fosters are trying to push her to be a bit more active.
This poor girl has been with SCAT for over a year, and we know her people are out there! Please submit an application to meet with Onion today.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): She swats when she is caught off guard or annoyed. We are

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
