Hi there, I’m Ollie — and I’m ready for my second chance at forever. 🐾
My story hasn’t been the easiest, but I’ve never stopped believing that my person is out there. I was brought to the shelter when I was just a tiny week-old puppy. I was adopted at 3 months old and thought I’d found my happy ending… but just a few months later, I was brought back. Since then, I’ve been passed between different fosters and shelters, waiting for the right person to see me for who I really am — a good boy with a big heart who just needs a place to belong.
I’m a sweet, affectionate guy who loves people and lives for playtime. I’ve got lots of energy, so I’d thrive in an active home where I can run, explore, and learn. I’m very food- and toy-motivated, which makes training fun for both of us! I’m still working on my manners, but I promise I’m trying my best.
Because I get so excited about life, I’d do best with older kids or adults who understand that I’m still learning how to channel all my enthusiasm. What I want most is someone patient and loving who won’t give up on me — someone who will help me finally settle into the forever home I’ve been dreaming of since I was a puppy.

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

questions.
If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
