My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a young pet that is playful, energetic, and curious? How about me? I`m Zelda, and at just over 1 year old, I have many years to devote to my forever family. I have a beautiful coat and a stunning smile to show off on our daily walks. I`m housetrained, and I enjoy playing with toys, but mostly I just want to be around loving people who will help me build my confidence. Maybe it`s you? Take me home to see if we are the right fit for each other, then let`s seal the deal!

I`m visiting some volunteers for a few days, but you can meet me by sending an email to fostercare@austinhumanesocietyorg. They`ll set it up! -- Zelda

More about this shelter

The Austin Humane Society (AHS) offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services, transforming the lives of animals and those who love them. Because we believe homeless animals deserve a chance to thrive in a loving environment, we offer innovative, nationally recognized programs that save the lives of thousands of dogs and cats each year. AHS’ approach to addressing animal homelessness encompasses both finding animals homes through adoption as well as preventing future homelessness through spay/neuter programs.
