My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willow — a gentle heart with a story as beautiful as her name.
(Official name is rescue is Cordelia, meaning "heart")

Born in Afghanistan, Willow came into the world alongside eleven siblings from two devoted mothers. When their moms didn’t return one day, kind locals stepped in and reached out to rescuers who took in the entire group — twelve puppies who would one day find new lives across the world. After a year in rescue, Willow was part of a life-changing airlift to the United States, where her new chapter began.

Willow is a graceful, soft-natured girl with snow-white fur touched by caramel. She’s polite, tidy, and perfectly kennel trained — no accidents, even during a full workday. She walks beautifully on a leash, never chews where she shouldn’t, and is just starting to discover the fun of toys.

She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, Willow’s sweet personality shines through. She enjoys gentle playtime and quiet moments lounging beside her dog friends. Her foster family says she’s made remarkable progress — she now seeks out affection and happily rests near her humans, soaking in love at her own pace.

Willow would do best in a calm home, ideally with a fenced yard or someone who enjoys exploring the outdoors with her on a long leash. She’s a tender spirit who’s still learning that the world can be kind — and she’s ready to keep blossoming with a family who’ll give her patience, warmth, and love.
