Adele takes her “protector of the home” role seriously and is always the first to announce visitors. She may come off like a tough cookie at first, but with time and patience, she’ll show you her soft side and become your favorite couch buddy. Because of her cautious nature, Adele will need a home with no small children and few new visitors.
She loves car rides, waits by the door for her next adventure, and ends the day curled up on your lap. She’ll nudge you when she wants affection… and sassily let you know when she’s done!

All adoptions are limited to a 50 mile radius of the shelter.
PAWS adopts adult dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens, into appropriate, adoptive homes.
Kittens (6 months and under): $125.00
Cats (over 6 months): $65.00
Senior cats (over 7 years old): $25.00
Puppies (6 months and under): $275.00
Dogs (over 6 months): $250.00
Senior Dogs (over 7 years old): $125.00
For all animals, the adoption fee includes:
1. Basic vaccinations appropriate to the animals age.
2. Spay or neuter.
3. AVID Microchip or 24 hour Petwatch Microchip registration.
4. Rabies vaccination for dogs and cats over 4 months.
For cats the fee includes a feline leukemia test, FIV test, cat carrier, a collar and ID tag.
For dogs the fee also includes a heartworm test, collar, leash, ID tag.
