Eudora is bringing a sparkle to your day! She`s a 1-year-old, 9.8-pound Domestic Shorthair cat who originally came to the shelter with her mom and littermates after their owner went into assisted living. She found a home, but unfortunately returned to the shelter after she had a difficult time living with other animals. Eudora is a quiet and independent girl who likes to look incredibly adorable, all curled up and cozy! She`s the master of seeking out the comfiest locations. Eudora can be a little shy, but opens up quickly once she realizes you`ll give her some scratches under the chin. Once she knows you, Eudora loves you with her whole heart!
Eudora is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. You can visit her at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

If you are adopting a dog, we recommend a dog meet and greet with your current dogs.

Cat and Dog survey may be filled out online at babinskifoundation.org, or in person at the facility.

The staff will review your application! Please bring all necessary documents such as pet lease agreements signed by your landlord.

OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
