Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Feral, but used to living in a nice warm house. 🥰 Entered shelter 8/26/2024. Mama Maize’s story: her kittens were found in a Humvee on Fort Drum. The soldiers took them to the vet clinic and we were called to pick them up. They were only a few days old and we knew they needed their mama. So we went to the location and trapped her. We reunited her with her babies and she raised them like a very good mama. As a sidenote, her tail was mostly missing when we found her, and needed to be amputated. Her babies have long since been adopted. She is now spayed and fully vetted. I didn’t have the heart to release her so she’s still living in my basement, but I am unable to touch her. She’s grown into such a gorgeous kitty. If someone has the time and patience, she may come around.
